My 04 tacoma has just broken the cab mounts on the frame. Rusted and cracked almost complety off. Whole frame is rusted. Frame was inspected in 05/11. I have a appt. with Toyota on Thur . Will this be covered in frame replacement program?

yes, if/when it fails you're getting a new frame.

Thanks for the welcome! This is my second taco. My 99 was bought back a couple of years ago, I took the cash and bought my son a car. Been missing my truck ever since. Bought this 04 with 67k in 6/11. Love it! Any suggestions on parts replacement if it gets a new frame?

Might as well throw some new shocks on there, Billstein 5100's are popular.

You automatically get new leaf springs with the new frame so no worries there.

Had my frame inspected at Toyota dealership . Service dept. told me the broken, rusted, seperated cab mounts were not covered in frame recall. They would look at the rest of the frame for any holes. They did find a hole so they are replacing the frame. Four to six weeks before the parts arrive , no loaner until it is in the shop. In the mean time the rear of my cab is banging on the frame on every little bump. I guess I am going to park it to prevent any further damage. Any advice on the whole replacement process?
