I do know they are preloaded and need to be cranked up/down to get the desired height. I have read endless forums on where to adjust them to and I have seen guys with 1"-3" of threads showing between the blue adjustment collar and the top of the threads....not sure what that magic number will be for us but it looks like whoever did your lift got the truck to sit pretty level.

One of the forums I read said the guys coils settled/dropped an inch within driving it the first day.....yes they are getting their measurement from the ground to the fender or more accurately from the center of the hub to the fender.

Yup, that's the cab mount! If you offroad any you'll want to cut for sure.......if you don't, you can prob fix it with the right alignment. I had desert rat chop mine and it was only $150 for both sides! I'd do it soon than later to prevent any damage to your tire!

wow thanks!...but most of those people want to run 35's so i dont need to chop nearly that much hopefully??since im on the 285s...and when do the tire sizes go from three numbers to 2numbers like i have 285s and theyre talking 35s...do 35s mean 350s or something?

I think you need it if your going to run 285's without a rub issue....if it needs to be done you may as well?

YOU WILL BE MISSED Satoshi Grill, FX-R retros, husky liners, bed bolt d-rings, TRD short throw shifter, 2.5 Fox Coil overs, AP UCA's, AP Expo rear leaf with Fox 2.0 shocks, Extended SS brake lines, AP kick-out sliders, 265/75/16 on Konig Countersteers, AllPro Apex front bumper and Zip Ties.
Yes! x 10000! I got the rear All Pro Expo leaf pack installed this weekend. and it is designed to be the HD version of All Pro's standard 3" inch leaf pack. It is a stiff ride in the rear because I don't have any weight in the back, but it still is a superior ride over the off road stock billys.
The most notable difference is the ride over bumps.... much smoother and controlled. The rear used to make a jolting bang on bigger hits but now it is quiet and smoother. I am very pleased with this setup.

I only have small start off vibes and they can only be felt in the stick shifter, not in the cab. They are only in first gear from a complete stop and only for a split second.:yay:

I can't wait to test this off road! :D

What are the specs on your wheels? I am running 16X8 with 4.5 back spacing with 285/75 duratracs with a 2.5 spacer lift right now with no rubbing on the cab mount. It may be the back spacing on your wheels and may be able to be fixed with some wheel spacers...unless you wheel alot then mos def chop n box the cab mount.

Anytime brother! I don't like the idea myself....think I will stick with 265's. Maybe go with a 265/75 instead of the 265/70?

Wheel bs does make a difference. He also installed new uca's and that changes the specs on the caster which in turn adjust where the wheel sits in the wheel well. I had a spacer lift with the same wheels and tires and once I switched to coilovers and new uca's I was rubbing the cab mounts and back wheel wells. I offroad often so I just chopped em!
