Body Movement

I know this is vague but it seem like whenever I drive my truck on the Highway over small potholes, or bumps it the body dramatically goes from side to side. It scars the shit out of me because before I would drive over this kind of stuff and sure there would be a thump, but it wasn't uncomfortable. The only other time I have ever had anything like this is when I drove a 00 Chevy Astro van for work. Don't know if its related, but when I drive on the shity roads of DC the truck make a lot of noise, something along the lines of squeaking (not my leaf springs-have had that problem before). My trucks at 100K and I have been rough on it, time for new shocks and coils?

I would definitely recommend new shocks at 100K for any vehicle, shocks have a rough life. Unless your truck is sagging the springs and leafs should be ok.

+1, my dad's '08 tundra with only ~40k miles was having similar symptoms. so we swapped in a set of 5100s and it drives great again.

 

im at 110... I still have the stock Bilstein Sport shocks... Dont mean to hijack but could i be suffering my quality of ride because of them? Guess its time to buy my lift OME

i think it's time.... worn struts/shocks will make your car/truck wander/sway when you hit bumps or drive on rough roads which can lead to premature wear on other suspension components.
