    I have no way of hooking it up to the internet. I've tried to hook it up via my laptop like I used to do but it fails at the network so now I have to wait a while until I can get the wireless adapter thing. Why couldn't microsoft just be cool like the ps3 with free online and internal wifi?!

    are you in the dorms and that's the problem?

    if so all you have to do is hook it up with the ethernet cable, and change the MAC address of the xbox to that of your computer that you already use to get on the internet. Thats how I did it in the dorms.

    I still live at home, drive back and forth everyday about 45 minutes to 1 hour round trip, I have my Xbox network setting set to factory, a cross over ethernet cable, internet sharing turned on. It was working fine 2-3 months ago when I last got on Live then it quit for no reason so idk what happened so I just quit playing. Edit:I have a Dell with Widows 7 Home Premium if that makes any difference.

    I find it funny you still have the sway bar on with that setup. I'm sure it still does it's job but just seems out of place with the rest of that stuff.
