Are these All-Pro Wheel Spacers??

I found these on craiglist and thinking about getting them for my 2004 D-Cab Tacoma. Do you know how to tell if the wheel spacers are from All-Pro? PN inscribed or logo somewhere on the part? They definetetly look like All-Pro from the picture.

Lug centric = bad. If you want all pro wheel spacers order some new hub centric directly from them. Just my 2 cents.

 

I have lug centric hubs. Will hub centric wheel spacers still work with my hubs?

By the way, I got the PN from the person selling these. They appear to be Billet Wheel Spacers which are the same wheel spacers All-Pro Offroad carry. [FONT=&quot]Here it is, 6550[/FONT][FONT=&quot]-[/FONT][FONT=&quot]6550C108. Basically its a 6x5.5 bolt pattern with 108mm bore.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

They do look like the AP wheel spacers.

If your truck is lug centric then keep it that way.

 

What do you mean by you have lug-centric hubs? Like they don't have a hub ring to accept a wheel bore at all?

 

I am going to take the wheel off tonight to make certain on the centric design on my truck. By the way, reading previous posts about hub-centric vs lug-centric, it appears most, if not, all aftermarket wheels are lug-centric so why would hub-centric wheel spacers matter for aftermarket wheels. It does appear though that the OEM wheels are hub-centric as I believe I noticed this on mine when I popped the wheel hub cover off. So my hubs may not be lug centric as I first thought, however, from what I read it appears hub-centric wheel spacers are only effective for OEM wheels. Does this sound correct?

 

The reasoning is that the more hub-centric connections you have, the less chance for vibes. If you buy hub-centric wheel spacers, then the spacer will be centered on the hub, even if the wheel isn't exactly centered on the spacer.

If you buy non-hubcrentic spacers, then the spacer won't be centered on the hub, and the wheel also won't be centered on the spacer

Go to allpro's website. A set of new hubcentric wheel spacers are not that much more then that guy is asking for his used ones. Either way, get a tube of loctite when you install them.

I see what you are saying now. I grabbed this pic from the "DIY Front Brake Pad Change" thread to use as an example. The wheel spacer below is lug-centric, plus, you can see how the wheel spacer attaches to the hub has a gap...so not fitting to the hub flange. A wheel spacer that is hub-centric fits to the hub flange (no gap), plus, hub-centric to the wheel if its hub-centric like the OEM stock wheels.
