I was with the first unit to use the GPS Guided Munitions in Theater. You EOD guys hated us because we left lots of UXO from the little bomblets that came out of our rockets.

They used to fire MLRS down there at least once a week it seemed. Never got any better, just as much UXO on the last day as there was the first.

    Haha nice..

They would let us use the M68 Rockets anymore because of that issue. I was glad when we got the GMLRS rockets in. Even thought they were just expensive telephone poles they allowed us to go back to putting rockets down range.

So my new lens came in finally!!! A Sigma 30 1.4

This is my second one, I am much happier with this copy, looks to be very sharp and the focus is right on.

So here are a few quick pix I took tonight.

First shot is a small statue being attacked by a predator. LOL I took this at F2 and F8 to show the difference in the DOF.

Naaa. I'm one lucky SOB. I'm in a house that he was trying to sell for $240k that sat empty for quite some time, so I called him up and asked him if he would like to loose less money each month, while having somebody in his house to help him sell it. He said sure come look at the house and we will talk.... Well we looked at it, and fell in love with the place, its pretty awesome. 3 bed 3 bath plus a loft overlooking white sands and the only tunnel in NM plus, room for my car addiction, just no garage :(. I asked how much for rent, he said last time he rented it for 1300, I told him I could pay 800, and my credit sucks as I had just given back $500k in houses in fl. He just laughed and said ok, $825 and its yours. LOL

So no buying for me. LOL
