Changed out the 10.5" 9mm barrel for a 7" lighter weight version from ADCO.

Still working on it. Gonna put a AFG2 on it still and flip down sights. It is a BCM upper assembly, MI ss-12 handguard, Bushmaster Carbon lower (might change it to a BCM). 1x7 16" twist barrel. Nothing to fancy yet since I am still paying for chemo treatments and other medical bills. Hopefully I can take it to the range soon to see how it fires.

Is it a combat or enhanced trigger or does the ssa have that ??? Can't decide and really can't tell the difference other than the lighter trigger pull and that is only a pound.... What u think???

I believe it is just the SSA, now they do have the SSA-E which I believe is enhanced. I love mine, it is adjustable too, so I think it is worth it. It came with it from the factory. After using regular GI triggers for so long, this thing is a breath of fresh air. My newest rifle will not have one though because it will be my "go to" rifle if it proves itself reliable. The LWRC enhanced fire group is pretty nice kit for being regular GI trigger that is EXO coated. I don't plan on shooting that rifle for groups though. On that build, reliability will first and foremost because I will be carrying it on repos with me.

That makes sense to be honest... I'm kinda likeing the small shot group thing I ended up ordering the Enhanced model cuz I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna be running and gunning anytime lol... I also felt the both triggers at turners outdoor this morning... Length of pull and trigger reset where pretty damn close and holy shit it feels better than a mil spec trigger with little to no creep... It seems its more on preference at this point... I know in the long run I will be eventually build another rifle which would be geared more to a "combat" style rifle as much as it will hurt the shit outta my wallet lol... And I love how the acog can give me the best of both worlds... My main concern was the whole accidental discharge thing but I think that is more user error to be honest I don't think If u spend that much money on a tigger that it wouldn't work to its expectations... Than anything else... Right???

Keep your finger off the trigger and the weapon pointed in a safe direction at all times and you will be fine. I have had two ADs and they will open your eyes real quick. One was my negligence, I tried to take down my Glock and forgot to pull the magazine out and boom. Luckily it didn't hit anybody as I had it pointed in a safe direction. The other time happened with a Winchester model seventy, it fired when I dropped the bolt handle into the down position. It happened on someone's reloads so I don't know if it was rifle or ammo related but it went the hell off. Again I had the rifle pointed down range so no harm no foul. Honestly I wish there was away you could induce a safe AD because nothing on this planet is a better teacher than a unloaded weapon going off in your hands. Get the trigger, you will be happy and it will pull your groups tighter if you are fundamentally sound everywhere else.

Honestly I got VERY lucky and so did your friend and his dad. It seems that guns that accidentally fire always seem to be pointed at vital organs or someone's head.

Oh they we're extremely lucky, his dad had his hand over the barrel because he was starting to push the slide back as he pulled the trigger so it made a bit of a mess of his hand, and then it went through both of my friends thighs but missed his femur and all everything else major so it ended up just being a flesh wound. My friends dad is also very big on gun safety and a very smart man, it just goes to show that one mistake can turn very bad, very quick.
