    Did you need to trim the reflector at all? Looks good man. Good job.

    When I did the same install, no trimming of the reflectors was required.

    Nope. Didn't trim anything at all. The Apollo shroud came with at least a 1/4" everywhere.

    No I just kept the DS2s. Couldn't wait to ship back then get the others. They both look good. Plus TRS said that the DS2 is made especially for the H1 or H4 bulb housings. So they are supposed to fit better

    Haha AsianAnts. I know man I know. But I think if I let the sealant dry for a good 12 hours, then pull out my pressure washer tomorrow, I'll know for sure. I don't think I'll have any problems. Thanks alot for everything guys. This kit ended up being very very easy. Everyone should have retros!!!

    That's the very same set-up as I installed, even the shrouds, looks good. OpticPlanet forums claim it's just a matter of choice between the DS2s and H1s.

    Nice pic. I plan on doing the same black out on my heaglights. I plan on color matching the BSP.

    I also appriciate your remarks about the DS2. Right now I plan on staying with the DS2 in the group buy. The FX-R is not that much more but I hesitate at the work involved for the retrofit.
