Cost should be right around the same as they are for the pre-2012s.

Even with a few minor emissions changes on the 2012 4.0L, they can't be all that different.

Hey, just wondering when you bought your truck... I've been back and forth w/ dealers (4 in the LA area) for almost a month now, trying to track down a BLACK 4x4 DCLB TRD Sport. Supposedly I'm getting the next one put into production, but they don't have an exact date yet

In the video? Stock? In the video I'm not sure the tire size, but I've been asking around about these wheels and Mtek has them and graced me with some awesome pics with tire size on his 2011.

Tires are 285/75/16 Yoko AT/S in these pics. He said they have minimal rubbing with the 3" lift and only in reverse with the wheel cranked all the way one way or the other. I like it...

Anyone play with the fogs yet? I'm lookin to change out the fogs at some point to slimcubby's HID's @ 3000k. And I think they're H11 bulbs.. If I can remember correctly aren't 2nd gen fog bulbs an H10? I guess I wanna confirm from the other '12 owners out there that the bulb is indeed a H11 so that I don't have to go through a return or resale or other crap like that... Thanks in advanced!

open your manual up and it'll tell you... or take the bulb out and read what type it says on the side of it....

I have found the dealers push leveling kits (Revtec or Daystar) from my experience.

On rare occasions, they will sell a truck with this option:
    http://www.dealerservicesint.com/vehicles/package/86

    Here
are some pictures of the lift. This dealer in WA had one of those builds about quarterly.

That lift package was listed at over 9K - total Tacoma price was nearly 40K. When the dealer subs out to "Dealer Services Inc" - the real installer is a 4wheelparts. Check this out, you can buy the exact same package at nearly half the price: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kit...s=488&t_pt=101133&t_pl=102373&t_pn=DSITACOMA1

Be careful working with the dealer, they are expensive - they will tout that the lift won't void your warranty since they stand behind it.

Good info, thanks man. My order was supposed to be in today and I'm still waiting for the call. I am supposed to get a dealer "provided" lift and we discussed that we would figure it out when the truck arrives. The dealer is family, but it is good to know the price they could attach vs actual price. Thanks again.

Been talking to dealers for a while, finally it was available about two weeks ago.
Standard TRD sport..no bells..no whistles. Figured I would do it myself. Got wheels, tires, coils, springs and nfab bar going in this weekend. I'll post the pics this weekend.
Sold my 06 sport..drove a Mercedes for three months..had to get another taco.
I loved my first one and i love this one.
I bought it at thousand oaks Toyota. They came through for me. Smaller dealership and they like to go the extra mile to get a deal done. Still, whoever you talk to..don't forget to grind em a bit. Get the deal you want to get.

i would try to get em down to about $35,000.00 on that truck. probably a pro comp 3" kit under there.
im telling you though, buy it stock and do it yourself. save money, and more choices for lifts, wheels, tires...
you can probably get that truck, stock, at about $31,500.00. put 4k into it yourself and do it right.

Yeah I'm not buying the one in the video, just one like it. I was quoted around $34,600 but the final price is still pending depending on the supercharger and some final touches. I was also told I wasn't going to pay the full $34,600 as well. I guess talks will continue in the morning. Thanks for looking out. I think we are going to work the lift after the truck arrival too. If it's blocks it's not happening so we will see. More to come for sure.
