Worst tank in the 3 months since i bought it, 17.46mpg. I was doing 75 into a 30 mph headwind. That was a nasty trip. Would have been much more tolerable if I would have had cruise to allow more attention to the road instead of every gust driving 3-5 mph off my speedo.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I got 2 of them in my hometown, I always go there because my 78 Bronco runs like shit on ethanol, one time it literally was shooting water out the exhaust! Been gassing up at the ethanol free stations with both the Bronco and my Tacoma, performance is instantly notable in the Bronco since I dont give a damn about gas mileage with it! The Tacoma on the other hand gets way better mileage without ethanol and seems to start nicer on ethanol free gas

Since I bought my '10 DC last year, I have repeatedly averaged ~20mpg. However, the last three tanks, I have only been getting ~16 and can't quite seem to pinpoint the cause! I haven't changed my driving habits or haven't towed anything either. Not sure if the winter blend of gasoline is a cause of this or if there is some other underlying cause...

Anyone else experience 4-5 mpg degrease in mileage during winter months? I'm baffled...

I get about 15-16 on winter gas mix driving about 75% hwy and rest local.
Summer time I get about 16-17.

In the winter time Gas company add more additive which cause low mpg.

Winter fuel blend does have a negative impact on fuel economy. The main reason for the decrease in fuel economy is due to the cold weather itself. Gasoline burns much more efficiently at higher temperatures. When you first start your truck in the morning, you'll notice the RPM are a little higher. Basically your truck is running rich until the engine temperature has been raised to a predetermined level.

Got 14 on my last tank and 290 miles on Arco 87. Tried to watch driving habits. Just filled up with 91 100% ethanol free, will see how it goes. Did some local driving and the pin has not droped yet, good sign. Hoping it will last me 2 weeks at least.

I got the same MPG's driving across Kansas from Kentucky. Loaded the hell down with a trailer and a strong headwind. :(

yea, 250,000 miles of me beating the hell out of it is finally taking its toll. Its been completely submerged and had water in the motor 4 times, and i constantly had my foot in the floor. honestly this truck has made me and alot of my friends true believers in toyotas lol.

Between -10 to +20F, travelling 55-65mph in 0-15mph headwind with 87-91 octane with the pickup & [edit] empty [/edit] trailer shown in this image, I got between 6.2 and 8.0 mpg today. I do not remember how many times I fueled up but I put them all in fuelly.
