No matter which way you go, you will be spending $30,000-$40,000 to get it done right, and still be able to drive it in 2012.

If you're going to go LT in the front, your going to be kicking yourself if you like going fast and don't do a rear LT setup.

If you're doing rock-crawling type stuff I'd look into the TC (2" not 3.5") or All-Pro (also 2") wider kit. As you won't have to run fiberglass, and paired with the Defined Kit (also doesn't require fiberglass) you wouldn't be any wider than the edge of the tires. This is the setup I'm going to be doing in the rear when the time comes:cool: Seems to be the best of both worlds!

can someone please explain this new fad people are doing? Spending a fuck tone on a brand new truck then they tear it apart and re build it for the dezert... why would u spend so much on a brand new vehicle like a 11' or 12'when u could get a 05' for half the price and tear that apart and rebuild it just as good and save yourself 10 grand or more... its fucking retarded what people do

example me and nelsons trucks are 04's.. i guarantee if u build a 2013 truck up it will not be any faster on any level and when u go to sell it u wont get much more for it... not to mention older vehicles are easier to build because there is alot less electronics built into them and ect. so why spend twice as much for something ur gunna rape anyway? its insanity at its finest.

I went out and bought an '02 with 60k miles for $12k. To me it would be a waste to buy a $30k truck and tear it apart, but some people have the cash so thats up to them. Some people still have money to burn

Edit: 2nd gens suck anyway :stirthepot:

haha yep. i picked the 02 just for that reason. if i bought a 2012 truck it sure as fuck wouldnt be getting cut up... but it would also have a v8 diesel under the hood and a 5th wheel hitch in the bed for ym hauler lol. screw pissing away funds on a new truck just to cut it up so i can have a "SICK ASS DD".

Start work monday! :woot: longest 3 weeks of being unemployed ever. lol But I will say I got to do some awesome stuff and have had some of the happiest times in the last 3 weeks I have had in over a year. :)

Hiking to cliff indian ruins with good friends
    Getting invited to SEMA
    Going to SEMA
Doing an old style vegas trip with not even hitting the strip
    Urban Fishin'
Hanging at the coffee shop every day
Hanging at sdhq a few times a week
Getting an offer letter for a job with WAY better pay then what I had
Riding my bike everywhere and it taking 2 weeks to use a tank of gas.

The only bad is being stressed out about money. but at the end of the day family and friends is what life is about. Really had time to reflect on things I have done with my life. both good things and bad.
