Lowered 3/4, debadged, led tails, projector headlights with hids, billet grill, blacked out windows, painted front and rear bumper and grill shell. Inside, 4 crappy 15's, suede wrapped headliner and door panel inserts, alpine double din, few painted pieces inside, and every led is either blue or white.
Oh really...? Ive never heard that one before lol.

Too bad all you have to do to get it up is hit a switch (if you're bagged of course).

I guess by that logic that all lifted guys can't keep it down then.

edit: for the record we are called mini truckers, not low riders. Douchebag

or men with dicks too big to lug up into an overly lifted truck... at least thats what i tell the rednecks that are clearly overcompensating for something haha.

I say let the creativity be.

On the flip side why lift trucks? Why do a bed Bob? Why put a solid front axle? Why change the interior lights? Why install air bags? Why drive your truck offroad? Why put on larger tires on stock rims if you have to install spacers to make it fit? Why replace parts that aren't broken? If you do things to your truck that may break parts why do that?

Simply because the owner enjoys it and it serves them and their purpose.

Now why would I want to do that with a truck? That's what sports cars are for. You know thats a really cool thing about my brand new 2012, 4 door, long bed, 4.0 L, V6 Tacoma is that when you pop the hood the oil filter is right there easy to get to.

And what is with trying to rename your rides? Once a lowrider always a lowrider. It kind of goes with low standards, low quality and low expectations.

If you need to know the difference between a nut and bolt let me know.

That's the beauty of it. It can do everything a truck can do, plus more.

No low quality parts on my truck :D

And I expect everything from my truck that I would expect from it in it's stock form.

Championship Points for my first year. I doubt your truck will ever claim first place in anything. Considering well, it doesnt get the mileage of my truck, so it fails there...It cant tow that much, shoulda bought a full size with a real engine if you wanted a real work truck, and its got silly ifs to be proficient offroad...In fact yours is good for taking you to work on the highway through the occasional snow storm...but come to think of it, the 89 mazda mpv we had growing up could do all those things as well hmmm

If you need to know the difference between a nut and bolt let me know. - hahaha we all know your a "bro" and dont have the slightest idea about the actual mechanics of a vehicle. hence why you bought something you considered already good enough. lol. my truck has the front suspension of a 69 camaro, the rear suspension of a 98 ford explorer with disc break swap and 5 speed conversion. among other things...

braddah i bet you nevah when even change oil yet in your truck. and the oil filter location on the 2.7 2TR-FE Four Cylinder in my honest opinion, since you have to jack the truck up to change the oil (for a 5 lug anyway) is in a prime location near the oil drain plug.

a lowrider is something completely different from a lowered pickup truck. my truck does NOT have an active suspension that can move it up and down to music.

sports cars can't haul shit. that's why I bought a truck....

wow utard named himself pretty good. you a tard dude. if you dont like slammed trucks stay the hell out of the thread. personally i dont like double cabs, or long beds. and the front of the 2012 is just dumb lookin. i love my xrunner, and its low as hell. soon to be even lower than it is now. and i hauled my 400ex quad in the back, with a trailer and 2 other 400ex quads on it just last weekend.

Too clear up some confusion in this thread...

    Lowrider:

Notice the wire wheels, hydraulics, and an old school Impala.

    Minitruck:

First off, it's a TRUCK. No gay ass wire wheels on it. Laying rocker and a clean paint job.

Lowriders and minitrucks are two different things.

Hey don't be butthurt caus you've never had (another word for can't afford) a new vechicle. When you start welding 3 different cars together its called JUNK. I bet you are such a good mechanic you have a left handed metric cresent wrench. What grade blinker fluid do you use? Go suck on a muffler bearing. And your little race thing does not impress.

Some choose not to buy brand new (myself) and that's cool. Kinda like doing WTF you like to your own vehicle, they don't do it for you and it's cool you'll never understand the rational of a lowered truck. I'm guessing this thread was intended for more of an infomative thread versus come and b!tch and what you don't like. oh and [IMG]

you would be surprised at how many low riders are switching to air suspension ... me being one of them. Also not all low riders are Impalas.
