Pull truck into garage, shut garage door, do work, clean up, open garage door, kick management in the **** simply because they deserve it.

PS: My apartment complex rocks. I'm out there with the truck on jack stands rotating the tires. I pull out the table saw, router, the whole nine, to build speakers right outside my garage door. And no one cares.

This is one reason why when I was a renter, I never lived in an Apartment complex. I always found houses to rent so I would have a driveway and a garage to work on my vehicles and do my woodworking projects. You should convince your wife to find a house to rent. It's much better IMO.

While I agree completely, My apartment is less than $1500 a month even after utilities, whereas a small house in these parts is more like $2500, I can afford it, but its just my wife and I and we are saving for a house. I bug her every day about wanting a house, but we both know its not worth it at this point.

This is what I was looking for, I have never heard of this. I figured it would not be possible because of liability, but I am going to see if one of these is up in my area.

Oh yeah, I forgot you lived in CA. Wow, prices are crazy out there for you guys.

Not worth it? Right now is a perfect time to buy. There are some awesome deals out there right now.

I'm guessing the price to rent a place like this will offset the money saved by doing it yourself. But then again, you can't put a price tag on doing right the first time yourself.

Go to another apartment complex nearby and do you truck maintenance in their parking lot..... Shouldn't have a problem there :)
