I've purchased tons of refurbs, not saying they are as reliable as factory new, but they work just fine. I just recently finally trashed my Dell that was mfg'd in 2001, it still ran fine, Windows 7 even, but I'm rockin a 64 bit machine now.

I run refurb stuff all the time, but I always make sure that it is cost-effective. If I can get a new one for 25-40% more, I will usually do that so for peace of mind - depending on what it is for of course.

For $78, it is probably worth a shot (as long as the merchant checks out). Just be sure you can return it if it ends up not being the correct part.

That's definitely a plus, but I would still check the terms and policies. They may say in there that all sales are final, and all parts are as-is.

    Just a thought.

    chemistry.
But my brother got an internship at NELHA over the summer, and we helped the director move to another house, so he took us to dinner to thank us.

    Makes perfect sense to me.

I thought you were going to school for some sort of "oceanic science" degree.

My ex, and now my best friend, got her Biology degree. She seemed to enjoy it, and she is now trying to get her teaching degree so she can be a professor.

I don't think I've ever sat at a table with that high of a collective IQ before...
dialogue between those guys makes me feel really dumb :anonymous:

The research my bro did is publishable material though, so he's working on that. Interesting stuff.

he was always the smarter one, I was the one that did the sports and whatnot.
Guess that's why he's going to grad school for biology and I'm going to the Army :spy:

I have to hold back those awkward comments when I'm around my ex's and their new BFs...

like if the BF says something about her on facebook, I've always wanted to say "I know how you feel"

It was awkward for the first year or two - we'd go weeks without talking, she'd call me and ask if we could hook up, I'd of course say yes. Then it'd be another few weeks.

We were basically bed pals for the first year after we broke up. Then one day it all changed, and now we talk everyday for at least an hour. My current girlfriend met her when I took her back home with me last year for my birthday and it went really well.

Long story short, the ex and I are better friends now than we've ever been. I don't even really consider her an ex, even though we dated for three years.

I didn't have to get suckered into anything...I was all for it right after we broke up. :D

The majority of my really close friends are chicks.

I just find the majority of guys my age around here to be immature douchebags who have no idea what it is to be responsible. Total bros.

The girlfriend is down for the threesome, we've already had several. The problem is the ex lives about 1,200mi away.

I definitely need more guy friends. I used to have a solid group of guys I'd hang with every weekend back home.

I've actually met some great guys from here that I'm sure I'll be hanging out with more often.
