New to TW but not to Taco's

    I love these trucks for the dependability. My last one was a 94 SR5 I ran it to death using it as a work truck. The transfer case finally went at 340,000 miles. I just bought a 97 tacoma that was hit in the bed by a motorcycle at 65mph (the guy on the motorcycle was hurt pretty badly). Needless to say the bed is FUBAR. I've done a search with no real answers. Is it possible to use the bed from a 94 pickup SR5 on a 97 tacoma? Both are xtra cab short bed.
    I'll post pics of the damage tomorrow.:eek:

    lol im going to bring it back to life. I've already sourced a bed, door and glass. Frame is straight. Truck tracks in a straight line with no viberations so its just body damage.

    Seems like a pretty good deal to me. 50% of the body work is just replacing the bed.

    I'm picking up a passenger door and quarterlet glass for both sides this weekend. I'm going to have to check out the cab mounts. It seems to be shifted to the side a inch and a half from the impact. The cab and bed are not lining up properly.
