yeah we usually already have passes, but since we are driving separate this time. I need one. I'm not paying the jacked up price at the Glamis store. Lol. I'll try a shop.

Luckily my platoon sergeant had my back, and told the orderly room that they WILL accept another pass. Whether or not it gets approved is still pending. We had training all day yesterday so its going up today.

Thats good stuff Chas. If there's no good reason to go to that shit hole might as well do everything within your power, and backing to get out of it. Big Army is giving me one option for reassignment...Korea...FML.

Jesus.. I washed the truck last week, washed it again today with 5 bucks worth of quarters, and theres still mud falling off and coming out of the crevices.. Lol. My lower valence paint peeled off in places before the mud even finished running out of the grill. Lol. I'll have to go back again after Glamis anyways and bring twice as many quarters and take the grill off. F mud. No more...

Ah yea I use openDNS (though I'm with Orbital in Maricopa, probably routes through Cox though).

Yea, I have no clue what any of you are saying. LoL I know a total of Jack and Shit about Lan and interzweb other than how to plug my puter in to look at the latest porn!!!

But I can build you a wicked piece of equipment that goes boom... Its scary how much I know about explosives and stuff that goes boom, so does that count?

Dns is roughlt the service that routes your service. Your isp gets you to the internet, but in order to have queries process you have to specify a server. In this case cox was down. Alternatives exist, there are different reasons to switch, mines speed, reliability, and privacy. Open dns, and google dns are great alternatives, and for me generally faster then cox. And they go down less.

Also, changed carrier bearing, and a ujoint today in the driveway. Feel fairly confident I could help anyone do it again. Not hard as long as you have appropiate hand tools and a heavy duty vice.
