ummm I take it you have never set up a cheap set of gears such as genuine. One set of cheap gears we did for a customer ended up costing him way more than the money he saved because of the added time at install. It needed so many pinion shims that we had to order an extra set of shims, witch meant the truck was down for another day. Cheap gears are junk and it is easy to for them to F up a toothed chunk of metal.

you will pay through bytor directly.

im thinking ill start a thread on monday,

in order to get this price we will have to have 20 buyers. so you will pay bytor directly, but nothing will be shipped out untill the 20 buyer mark is reached. you will not be added to the list untill you pay.

Alright, sooooooo, I'm basically clueless but have read a number of threads here as well as the tire size calculator.

I'm debating buying 255/85/16 KM2's. For this, I'd need 4.56 gearing to get back to factory power/gas, correct? If I only need the gears, what is the master install kit then? I'd also need a front and rear since I'm 4x4, correct?

The old gears aren't ruined so I could conceivably switch back and forth btwn gears, right? (yes, if I drop the coin to pay a mechanic)

My brain hurts w/ lifts, shocks and weight info...

These are high quality gears, if you order the install kit to go with the gears, you will have every thing you need but the oil.

If you have a 4wd without a locker 3.73 and or down ratio you got it right, but if only a rwd than you only need the rear

    Front
    R&P
    T8S-456RT-NGTOYOTA 8" REV CLAMSHELL IFS 4.56 THICK R&P(FITS 3.73 CARRIER) $198.90
    install kit
IK T8S-RTOY 8" REVERSE CLAMSHELL MINI INSTALL KIT (INCL STUB AXLE SEALS) 84.50

    Rear
    R&P
    T100-456-NGT100 & TACOMA 4.56 R&P W/O LOCKER $197.60
IK T100T100 & TACOMA W/OUT LOCKING DIFF, MINI KIT $37.44

I may recomend master install kits that include all new bearings if your truck is high milage.
