Well, here is my first real step in making my rig nice. King Front and rear with remote resevoir. Built right UCA and Deaver leaf pack. It seems to add about 2.5 to 2.75 inches in height. It feels like it turns tighter. Feels good. I have just driven it home from the SD Truck Shop where I had it done and so far it feels a bit tight. I imagine it will take some time to slightly soften up. Not sure. Well anyway, James at SD Truck Shop took care of me and gave me a great deal. I love the way it looks and cant wait to take her out and hit it for real.

Really? Do you think I need bigger tires. Part of the reason i wanted this lift is to stop my tires from rubbing. I went from stock to getting my rims with 0 offset and going a bit bigger in tire with a one size bigger height in tire. I think a 75 185 16. I was rubbing with this and thought this lift would help. What size should I go to?

Shout out to Tri for the recommendation and shout out to James at the Truck shop for a job well done at a great price.

As some of you know, I recently upgraded my suspension last week to a set of Kings in the front and rear, Built Right UCA and Deaver leaf pack. Yesterday I finally got a chance to test it out at Ocotillo Wells, CA.

Right away it was a night and day feeling compared to my stock suspension. I was a little timid at first because the last time I went to Ocotillo, I was bottoming out and scraping tires all over the place when trying to push it a bit. So with that in mind, I kept hitting the breaks before hitting a whoop and bracing myself for impact. But each time I hit a whoop or fairly large size hump, I was impressed to say the least. The suspension just soaked it up like it was not there. I mean, I was unprepared for this feeling. I knew it would be a better truck now but this was freaking great. No more rubbing tires, no more bottoming out. I did scrape my bumper on a few bumps when going hard only because of the deepness of the hole before it.

I felt like I almost had a long travel truck. I tried to jump a few times, just little things but was too p*ssy to really get it going. I am in love with my truck now and the mod bug has bit me hard.

My friend was there with his lifted FJ (procomp suspension) and I let him drive my truck around and he was impressed. I think the Kings were worth the money.

Any ideas on what to get next?

You tire size looks good to me. I've got pretty much the same on my 3" lift.
I lifted mine with Total Chaos and ICONs all around.

I also went with the 16" Konigs that you have. SUPER SWEET LOOK there!

Well what I got was a bit pricey. It was just north of 3K. You can probably do just as good with something cheaper but I really like Kings.
