Im new to the forum but not to trucks. I have a '09 Taco w/ a toytech 2.5"F/2"AAL R, and was wondering what is the widest tire / back spacng that could fit w/o rubbing or much alteration.

    getting there....
    265/75/16...............or the equivalent in 17.

opps.....reread the thread......you may be able to fit 33's pretty easily, but i think you may need a bit more for 35's.....at least spacers.

285-75-16, 285-70-17(33x11's) or maybe 305-70-16, 305-65-17's(33x12.5's). Cant run smaller than 16" rims, even alot of aftermarket 16's dont fit. 17x9" wheels are the best bet, along with 4.5" BS. The stock wheels can work with 285's if you add wheel spacers but trying to run 12.50's on a factory wheel would probably bulge it too much for proper wear characteristics. Removing the front mudflaps and some minor trimming will probably be necessary.
