    Negative what?
Wheel hubs on pre-runner are different then the ones on 4x4. Can't reuse them so he needs new hubs, he will need new bearings as well.

The ADD all you need is a power switch it has internal limit switches,
    Like this
    [IMG]

That is an actuator for a transfer case but the front diff uses A Similar one

    Or it is vaccuum actuated

You can wire it the same way you would wire a locker

I think you would have to wire it, I didn't because I had the option to go with manual hubs, Which I don't think the 2nd gens have the option of.

But i would ask on ttora they are much more knowledgable and they helped me with a lot for my conversion.

And you shouldn't have to replace the wheel bearing unless they are bad, just swap in some 4wd spindles.

Yes if you went and pressed out your old stuff to keep the same spindles you would have to get new wheel bearings and 4wd hubs but it would be easier to change the whole spindle, the reason 1st gen guys do this is to keep abs if you have a newer truck the manual hub ones don't have abs, so if you want to keep it you have to press it in

oh really TTORA is more knowledgeable?

If he buys wheel hubs they will come with no bearings on them and he can not press old ones out wit h out damaging them.

As far as the wiring thats why I put $??? he can build his own computer to shift ADD by the switch or get factory one to do so. Either way he can not use just simple on/off switch on that it needs relay and bunch of properly connected wiring (aka simple shift computer)

Great site. Thanks for all the info guys. Good news, I just got a e-mail from Josh at Inchwormgear. He said their working on an adapter now for the A750E trans to mate to an Fj manual case. Should be ready by 1st of the year. This would make it super easy. Not sure on the price though. That will be the deciding factor.
Still looking into the divorced transfer case idea. I may have to pick one up and mock it up there to see what I have to work with.
