    keep out of the throttle and you'll keep that average up in the 20's.

    I'm lucky to get 18.5mpg avg. from a road trip.

    I'm pretty easy on the throttle. The per tank range was from 18.24 to 24.22 with the average of 22. The 18.24 was a combo of city/highway miles and some of that was narrow winding roads with a lot of hills. The 24.22 mpg tank was on flat highway with a strong wind at my back.

    Didn't read whole thread, but wish the bench seat on the regular cab was a 60/40 split. I'm 6'3" and wife is 5'4". When she drives, I have a nice view of my knees.

    I drive 95% of the time... but every once in a while.....

    I believe in maintaining my truck/cars and servicing them regularly but it can get pretty ridiculous when the amount of money it takes to maintain my Tacoma exceeds the price of a new car.

    It still suprises me at how fast this truck can be from a stop (on a flat road) even though it has 33 BFG ATs and a ATO rear bumper. (fast for a truck that is :laugh: )

    I'm on my 3rd Tacoma and had a 4runner in between the 1st and 2nd ones. Wife just got a new Rav4. I LOVE Toyotas...never had a single problem with any of them. My next truck will be another Tacoma.
