lookin good man. i have the same header/exhaust set up as u. mine both have doug thorley stamped on it. jardine makes exhaust for motorcycles and tacomas apparently. they have DT market them so they sell better. i love mine and im sure u will too.

    Thank you

I can't wait to get the crawler in either, After Dec.2 I have some time off from work to get started.

Thanks, I must have listened to the sound clips in your build thread 20 times before placing an order with Gadget@URD and am really glad I went with the same set-up.

    Thanks, I hate that beeping....

Thanks, I have different projects lying around that need to get done but I have been picking them off slowly. The header and exhaust was a 6-7 hour project that was with welding the Jardine exhaust up instead of just clamping it together. I am really glad I did it the truck has better low end and dropped 100-200 RPM's cruising above 55mph and I like the way it sounds. The snorkel was about a 3-4 hour project as well it was not hard but the final fit is time consuming. I have not put enough miles on the truck yet to see what my mileage is but the power increase and sound made it worth it to me so far.

    Thanks

If just your boots are ripped here is the Toyota Part #04428-04010 for the boot kit (1 kit per side) comes with boot, C-clips, grease etc. they are cheap and CV's are not hard to reboot just messy.

    cheap CV's
Cardone is the brand just google Tacoma CV joint it will not let me post the link but I found them for 68$ this morning, I picked mine up for 71$ with free shipping this summer. For that price I could break 4 of them vs 1 OEM CV.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to getting it in the rocks. The last 2 days I have been hauling wood I got a little to busy working on the truck the last few weekends that the snow beat me to getting wood so I have been hauling and splitting a bed load a day and am right at a cord 1 more load tomorrow and I am done.

I have to agree on the Nitro/ECGS built diffs, I'm amazed at how the 4cyl does with the 4.88s and 36's. My speedo is almost dead on +2mph which is good enough for me. Fuel mileage calculated @ 19mpg on the last tank of fuel. So I'm pretty pleased with how it has turned out daily driver capable and good on the trail and can still carry a little weight.
