    So looks like I will be celebrating American slapsgiving I mean Thanksgiving with my Dad who lives in the states, I want to make some hors d'oerves. I was thinking proscuitto wrapped melon with balsamic "caviar" aka balsamic spheres, a minced meat pie but in phyllo pastry cups, vegeratian sushi ( strong chances of not doing this, only doing it for my vegetarion cousin) and a sort of cold soup shooter, I was thinking of either a curried carrot or maybe a gingered carrot soup. What do you guys think. Any other ideas are welcome.

    Edit: I need fast and simple, small kitchen not alot of time and 14 people are attending.

    Everything came out good and everyone liked it... we did have some minute rice and soy sauce once it was plated.... kind of asian theme I guess...not very creative or authentic

    I was behind an outback on saturday while I was at work and the air was filled with all those good smells. We were so busy it was almost 430 with nothing to eat since 8am. I rushed to lunch when I finally got a break so starving.
