i thought about the wraith, but with that chassis that pivots in the center (for crawling) i would think it would not be very stable high speed bashing.

I don't know if either of those would be very quick at all. Maybe that's not what you're into but I couldn't imagine spending that much money on an RC that's "slow-ish". Check out the 1/16 Traxxas Summit. I think that may fit your needs pretty well.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I took my SC10 to the local skate park yesterday, jumped it around for a while and then SMACK. Front right A-arm got skullf***ed by a pole... Waiting on aluminum replacement to come in. :D

Aluminum bends and adds lots of weight

Really? From all of the reviews I've seen the Wraith looks pretty damn fast for a crawler.

    That's what I'm thinking too.

As soon as I get my DuraTracs, and recover from that hit to the wallet, I will likely be picking up one of the two. The whole R/C industry has changed since I was into it years ago, much more stuff out there for them.

ever since the Slash hit the market a few years ago, the SC market took off like wildfire

it seems like the entire r/c industry is going electric :(

I've always been a nitro fan myself, but I can see the pros and cons to both.

I didn't break the arms. I broke the bulkhead. I'm gonna get the aluminum bulkhead and if i break the arms i'll go RPM's for sure. I really need to make the bumper wider so that shit doesn't happen anymore.

Hey, I could be wrong. I just know that my truck is meant to be "fast" and I don't think it's fast enough. Granted, I've already wrecked and broken it...

I like nitro because of the noise, smell, being able to run for long periods of time.

I really don't like the whrrrrrrl sound electric r/cs make

it depends... have you broken anything? what are your needs of the vehicle?

Check the link I posted to see what other people have done to their Slash 4x4s
