While the diagram does illustrate what is positive/negative caster, my comment is still correct. If you start rotating the camber/caster bolts it physically does move the tire forward/backward.

So yeah...just move them 4" forward right

Since my arms are not adjustable and everything is adjust from the lower arms the only way you can get positive caster is to move the lower arm forward. Which leans the top towards the cab. So effectively moving the tire forward is what gives positive caster, but your moving the bottom forward, NOT the top ;). You are both correct

Ok ok you guys are all right, now need to purchase spindle gussets. And i ran into a snag, i have 16x7" wheels now with 1.5 wheel spacers ,i was going to ditch the spacers but i forgot that my wheels rub on caliper , grind caliper? 1/4" spacer but lugs are already short but i do have ET lug nuts?

    None of the above.
Use your craigslist-fu skills and find some new wheels.

If you're going to run a 1/4" spacer, I'd get some new ARP lugs for extra piece of mind:cool:

^This. 1/4 spacer leaves u with like 4 threads for the lug nut.
But after the cost of studs, hell you'll probably be able to get used wheels for that.

Not quite. ET lug nuts != longer studs.
If you're going to run 1/4" spacers, you should use ET lug nuts AND longer studs (ARP for example)

It's not like you're removing part of a body pannel or a pinchweld or something. It's your damn brakes.

Ahhh. I see , would you happen to know the length? And they are easy to install ? Ive seen the thread, and i got my spindles that im going to use in a box in the garage so that makes it easier.

This is what we used when we did Rob's old truck (the black one). He ended up ordering the studs from the rear of the truck and put them on the front. They are almost exactly 1/4" longer in the rear than the front. Granted this was a second gen, but good reading material none the less.
