IPF lights on ARB bumper installed

hey guys i installed my IPF lights on my ARB bumper today. At first i thought that those lights were going to be pretty big on the bumper but after i installed it, it looks pretty good and i'm very happy with the end result. check them out.





Does anybody else have these lights installed? and if so where did you mount your light switch? i mounted mine here. i was going to order some factory fog light switch to mount them in the empty slots but i think this location looks ok as well.





Now i just need to shorten my winch box bracket, so when i get my devil horns on fire from Andres, it'll show the whole horns on there. does anybody have any idea on how to shorten this bracket? here's what i mean, you can clearly see that the box is on the way.

Where did you get the WARN sticker? Ive got the exact same bumper and winch and would like one to put on my bumper. thanks

 

the sticker came with the winch hardware bag. did you not get one? you might call sierra expeditions and see if they can send you one.

 

No for some reason i didn't get one. Did you mount your winch before or after you put the ARB on? Thanks

 

i mounted the control box under the hood on my old warn 9.5 xp, i thought it looked ugly on the bumper and i would recommend you do the same. i also ran the remote control wiring to inside the cab and mounted a power switch and the "in out" switch on the dash.

those ipf lights are sweet. really like the look of them.

 

mounted the winch after i put mine bumper on. Not too bad, just had to drop the skip plates. and having a buddy to help you lift the winch in place. unless you are strong enough to push 80 + lbs with one hand. lol

 

where under the hood did you mount the box? it's gotta be in that general area or else the copper thick wire wont' reach.

 

That's good to know, I've got a new M8000 and don't want to take the bumper off to put it on. I want to mount solenoid under the hood and get a Warn wireless setup. Those IPFs look good man, are those the 900xs lights? Sorry for the thread jack and all the questions. Thanks

 

You can buy longer #2 gwa and put the solenoid on the passenger side of the engine compartment.

the install is pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions. just be careful when you tap to the high beam (+) for power. it's the red/yellow wire, NOT the solid red wire.

i got the entry level VR10k. there was a rebate at the time of purchase.

 

yes, enzo is right. I actually ran 0/1 guage (think small garden hose) to squeeze every last bit of voltage i could.

yeah, i've gotta figure out something, either relocate the box like you guys talking about or find a way to shorten the box bracket as i will be installing the devils horns from Andres. as of right now it would be obstructing the view a bit.
