^as far as i can tell, might be wrong and wont be the last time, is that the bronze are not coated. I have a set in front of me now and the whole wheel is bronze colored, but the front looks "polished" smooth and the back is unfinished. looks like it was casted in that color

Konig wheels are painted and clear coated (as are pretty much all aftermarket, non-chrome wheels). The matte black are painted black, and then cleared over with a "matte" or "flat" clear coat to give them that satin / matte finish.

The bronze color that I was previously offering the 16" Countersteers is the same finish, but it is done slightly differently. The bronze 16" Countersteers have an "anodized" look. This is accomplished at the Konig factory by bead blasting the wheels to give them a rough texture, machining the face of the wheel (including the lip) so that it is smooth, and then applying the bronze paint and clear coat over that finish. This gives the wheel a two-tone, anodized look.

If I do offer the 16" in bronze again, I was planning to ask you guys if you want the anodized bronze look, or the straight, single tone matte bronze (similar to the 17" Countersteer Type X bronze or the 18" FN Wheels BFD bronze that I have posted in the past).

    See above. =)

THIS is what I would be interested in. That is one of the main reasons I personally have been holding out on a set of the bronze 16" Countersteers because I am not a fan of the anodized look. The anodized almost gives it a gold hue to it and that's what I don't like. I LOVE the design of the wheel though.

I dont know which Bronze you mean, but I like the Bronze/platinuim color. If you get enough interest, will you order 17s or 16s or both?

if i can get enough deposits for either or colors i will.

KB24 - 16's in black will be in stock in about 3 weeks or less. Konig's factory got backed up, and getting the orders on time became a small issue, but they are produced and awaiting shipment to the U.S.

Sorry, I didn't read through all 35 pages to get the back story. Based on the dates of your post, can you still get these wheels?

I'm looking for a very lightweight, 16", black wheel...

Thanks. I am still interested. I'm trying to figure out rim diameters to work with available tires sizes/weights.

The weight is approximately 18lbs per wheel.

No problem. Just let me know if I can help you with anything.

Hey, I am trying to read back through the forum and see but it looks like you have black rims instead of the bronze or chrome. If so, what options do you have for 4 wheels in the black option? I live in AZ so I would need them shipped too. Thanks.

Konig has told me that they should be here next week, however, with the holiday next week, I would say the odds are 50/50 that I receive the wheels next week vs. the following week. I will most definitely call everyone on the list the day we receive the wheels (even if that day happens to be the day before Thanksgiving). Thanks again for your patience.

I did used to sell these wheels in a dark metallic blue color, but now I only have matte (flat) black.

To which vehicle / post are you referring? I will try to let you know what that person has.

I don't have the bronze Countersteers anymore, but I am taking names down on an interest list to see if I have enough interest to revive the bronze color with Konig. I can still get bronze, but I need to get a few people to order all at once, so that I can meet Konig's minimum ordering requirement for the color.

As noted in my post above, I have black coming in later this month. I will PM you for your name and #, and I will add you to my list. In the mean time, I do have a brand new set of these wheels in 16" black ready to go (and I can ship to you, no problem):
