Not yet. I've only been to one meet up, and I don't get out all that often with the truck.

The GF and I were thinking about taking a trip up that way sometime soon, so I thought I might be able to talk her into coming up for a night and I could squeeze in a trail run.

Anyone know of a decent hotel nearby that accepts dogs?

I think they need between 85-90...I'll probably take this opportunity to pull them off completely and threadlock them too...(again).
Last time I did this my Canadian Tire jack actually gave and the truck fell off the jack, good thing I wasn't under the truck!

Tarik, noooooooo the torque is NOT between 85 - 90, it is 83. I have an FSM if you'd like to check. I have several torque wrenches, so if you still need a hand you can drop by. I'm in Esquimalt. Tonight or Sat either is fine.

    Thanks!

Rear Diff Breather, 4" Deckplate, 18" Magnaflow, 2.5"-ish spacer/block lift (I know I know, might do the 63" chevy's soon), Bush Guard rebuilt with Sch40 tubing, Custom 9 layer eggshell paint Greeny-Yellow, Eclipse Components up front getting 55rms/side and 8" sub will get 220rms (build in progress), two sets of snow chains? (unstoppable in the snow with those on!)
I'm likely up for a drive Sunday!
I might be heading out with a buddy building up an '83, in search of some deep snow, but if not, I'll come with you guys!

The roads up around Mt. Prevost are all really quite easy, I don't think I used 4wd at all while I was camping last weekend up there. But with snow, it could be an entirely different story! (It is all blasted/crushed rock, so pretty sharp on tires if we were spinning/sliding around lots...) I took a few photos of that little trail I saw last time (which I will post soon), and it looked do-able for anyone with a moderate lift/nice-ish tires.. then again, I often question trails/stunts, then drive through them without a single hesitation, so...
    :)burnrubber:GO TACOMAS? :headbang:)

I vote that we don't use that location as a group trail run, because it's a bit limited length-wise. But if anyone is wanting to explore up there, go for it! It is pretty harmless, and I'll give you coordinates for a few spots with a sweet view and the entrance.

Anyone reported snow up around Shawni yet?

*I bought a pair of 100watt 12v halogen floods from PrincessAuto the other day for $12.99/pair, making mounts and wiring in the morning. Stoked to see how they are! (not so stoked on the 17A draw on my alt/battery though...)

You know how cool people are?
    WICKED COOL!!!!!!
Thanks to Paul, not only did he totally hook me up with re-torquing my spacers, but discovered that I had originally installed the nuts on WRONG!!!!:facepalm::facepalm:
I win the "least likely to do one's own mods right" award.
I feel like such a moron.
I owe you man. And thank the family for your time too.
OK, that said, it's all good now and I'm ready for Sunday :D
Oh and Mike, thanks for the offer before!

Nick man, you have the worst luck with these runs. Damn bro, do we all need to show up and kidnap you from work? :D

OK I lost track of how many people are coming.
That said, just show at Tim Hortons, 8am on Sunday morning if you're in. Address is on the first post of this thread.
I'd like to put in a request to do the run Dan suggested. With snow it'll be challenging and the views should be awesome. Temps should remain low through the weekend so there will be snow.
Syncros-PM me so we can coordinate your meet up since you're coming from Nanaimo.
First we need to know where we're going though...can we get some coordinates or entry location for the trails we're doing? Dan?
