New 2009 Taco

Well, I finally traded in my 2004 Xtracab TRD for a 2009 Double Cab TRD. This truck is amazing! Toyota paid attention to detail and made great use of space in the cab. There are tons of great features on this truck.

I bought it complete with a skid plate, exhaust tip and side step bars.

Now I need to find a Tonneau Cover for it...any advice?

Anything else I need to know (TSB's, recalls, recommended upgrades/improvements/MOD's, etc)? I plan to hang around this site and ensure I get the most out of my tuck.

How can I verify the color name of my truck (using the VIN)? I believe it's Impulse Red but is hard to tell from internet pictures (http://www.toyotareference.com/charts/TA05.png).

I'll take a look at the sticky...thanks for pointing that out.


And the steering wheel cover is here to stay - they are 6 time world champs and I am proud to be a fan! I also have the hitch cover and license plate holder.

 

The impulse and radiant were discontinued for 09. The 09 red is Barcelona Red & it comes in the TRD Sport. Toyota never made a sport in IR.
Its nice to finally see one with the package.

I think somewhere around here was a toyota .pdf that went over the changes from 08 to 09. Also your door jamb should have the color code on I think ????

Just bought the identical truck last weekend. Traded my 07 in for it. Yes, I love it.

 

Nice truck, love the color. Your color was my second choice. I like the skid plate, going to get one for mine. I have had my 09 for 1 week and a day and have 973 miles. Love it. Good Luck with it, this site is addictive.

I'm into dirt bikes as well and am a member on Thumpertalk.com. I guess it's also addictive because I currently have over 3500 posts. I've been exploring this site and have seen a lot of similarities. It won't be long now...

I'm real interested in hooking up this truck! It's the nicest vehicle I've ever owned and I finally have the money to get it the way I want.

What was your first choice? Pics?

 

I debadged mine and added a new sound system
