    Wilderness First Aid: Emergency Care for Remote Locations
    Provides information on how to handle common injuries and illnesses when medical care is an hour away or more. Designed for those who work or travel in remote locations, these comprehensive classes will teach you what to look for and what to do in the event of an emergency, and direct you to the most appropriate type of care.

    Basic Wilderness First Aid is an intensive 8- to 10-hour course for those who are involved in wilderness recreation. This course may also meet the needs of volunteers and professionals who lead groups on short trips in relatively low-risk situations.

    October 8-Santa Clara County/Black Mountain Full

    December 10-11 in Santa Clara County Last Class of the Year! $168 TW special for a 2day course We will have additional emphasis on hands on scenarios and gunshot wound trauma (GSW). Day 2 our herbalist will show whats available in the North West. This course should fill fast.

    I looked up this school on Wilderness Medicine Society, which my training center is a member of. Check out this link.

    There's always NOLS too, if you can't find a date you need. There classes are usually taught in REI or something like that...

    Me too. This will be a good 2 day class....maybe a little cold, but we can utilize some of the indoor facilities at Hidden Villa.
