Why wouldn't it fit if they're both 6 ft?

I can't remember if it's the access cab or regular cab that is different as far as the fit of a cap to the cab .

One of them is different than the DC's as far as fitting a cap .

The regular cab has a unique angle.

It will fit, I purchased one from an owner of an extended cab, I have the double cab long bed. One suggestion, go to home depot and buy one copper pipe insulator for 1.89 and cut some pieces to fit the front corners to close up the gaps. Otherwise you will get dust and possibly some water intrusion. This is the only place the cap does not have a tight fit. Good luck.

YES, it will fit. A reg cab shell will NOT fit. Access and double 6ft are the same angle at back of cabs.

just went through this. go to leers website.

    100XQ--reg.& access-77TC
    4 dr. extended-77TC
    double-77TCDC
I think the DC will fit but cab angle is different. might not look too good, or be too close. it is a different code, so apparently not the same. these were all 6' bed.
