i wasnt really riding a lot...i had my dad's bike and its like a medium spec hardrock so it was hard to pedal cause the chain kept slipping so i mostly took photos. he never hit the very first run. most of the photos were on the 1st jump on the run with the new hip i guess. he cased the second landing with his front tire and broke his axle before he got to land the 2nd jump

Stephen, some nice mtb shots! You might try a little lower aperture (to lower the ambient light just a bit)--see how that works.

Ted, under the bridge is pretty cool! I like that.

Brent, cool shot. Maybe take a step behind and shoot more down barrel?

Eddie & Eric, cool car shots!

    What's that?

Seriously, the more you can protect your hearing now, the better your hearing will be when you get older.

    Totally agree.

I'd just add that when you're constantly saying "what was that?", you'll wish you'd taken better care of your ears :D I'm not there yet but all the moto riding and loud concerts have taken a toll.

I saw some amazing custom ear plugs for shooting today. They're like $1700 so it's not likely I'd buy them. But they have speakers so you can listen to your iPod, chat with your buds and shoot guns...all without taking your ear plugs out

Well I've been working at the IT Center on campus and we work with 27" iMacs...damn are those nice screens! My work flow requires a lot of multi tasking. I don't just work on photos but anything that relates to a computer. Sometimes I'll edit a video for a friend, throw together some beats with friends, just lots of random stuff. Hence the 27". Right now I have a 24" samsung monitor hooked up to my laptop and it's just not the same as a desktop setup =\.

Agreed. But as you can see the explanation above...:).

@ian408, lol, nice. Did the biker pop up into a nose wheelie or did he ride towards him and stop to kick it up?
