OH YEA! Back to back nailbiters, damn these two games were entertaining!

 

Hiller was the only thing standing between the Ducks and not getting a single point out of those two games. He played amazing last night. Quicky is always great.

That's true, I'm actually a bit shocked they put Ellis in, even despite his record against the Kings. Hiller was amazing. Loved Miller's comments during the 'blackout' so to speak. "Hey Patrick, did you find the extension chord?" LOL

 

I was 6/11 in my predictions...Could have been worse but I will agree, the Pens game wasn't what i was HOPING for. Had a lot of good opportunities but just couldn't find the back of the net. A lot of close games last night.

Gettin the skates sharpened this morning for our friday nooner game. Always a good way to start the weekend.

 

Freakin Bolts and their stupid trap. I do love St. Louis though, I wish he was a Pen.

 

Bruins are on fire right now. hopeful the rough start is behind them and the winning continues.

Urgh I know... Hopefully we can turn this around. Johnny went back to his old mask and it still didn't help...He is having a rough start this year. He needs a little flower power.

 

Yea that freakin little dude, he is amazing. Wouldn't mind seeing him in a Pens Jersey. I wish we never got rid of Malone either.

 

Lost a game to the Red Wings, no big deal. we were playing much better in this last stretch of games. You got stomped by the hawks, same thing

Nah, sadly i dont have center ice, and in SoCal, it's hard to find a hockey game on tv unless its Kings or Ducks. Plus got too much homework lately haha. What was the final?

Someone making a return to the Pens lineup tomorrow night. I hope Versus picks that game up here in the states. I know Canada will have it covered no prob

 

I'm not totally sure. But I may have helped start that chat. My brother was at the game. He got tickets from a friend of his that plays on the Hawks (Michael Frolik). My brother and I were texting during the game, and I told him to start chanting "WE WANT 10!!" And shortly after that is when I heard it on TV!!

Okay, honestly, I likely just came up with the idea at the same time as everyone else - lol. But still......it was funny!!

I haven't spoken with my brother since last night yet - but I know he went down to the Hawks dressing room area (with his kids), and ended up with a couple autographs. As the Oiler fan he is.......I'm sure he kept his happiness of the game outcome to himself while talking with his friend!! lol

Crazy wild game. RNH now holds the NHL record for youngest player to get 5 assists in one game. And the last time 3 players on the Oilers got 4 points in one game, was in 1991.
