I spliced in to the dimmer controlled power lead going to the gear selector light. Drilled small hole the size of led and poked em through. The leds I used had a small lip at the base that prevented them from pushing all the way through. While I was in there, i replaced the gear selector light with blue leds also.

I'm a little behind on updating. I also took apart the Scion switches I bought from Oznium and replaced the filament bulb with a blue led (dont forget the resistor). They're pretty bright, too bright, so next I'll be splicing into a dimmer controller feed, or just get a seperate dimmer and mount it under the dash.

Rear leaf suspension. Home done tailgate re-inforcement.
I did a coolant change which included opening both of the engine block petcocks and draining the block.

It took just shy of 2 gallons of Tonka pre-mixed fluid.

Using wobble extensions, it is easy to get to the petcocks from the wheel well to open and close them and by crawling under the truck, I could get a hose on the drain nipples to route the old fluid into a pail.

duratrac 265/75/16 on 16X8 raceline renegades
got my duratracs and renegades installed.
discovered goodyear royally f*cked everything up.
balance issue was bad, alignment was out of proportion.
Les Schwab fixed it, and I went straight back to GoodYear
and got my money back on balance and alignment.
(the worst.. one wheel was balanced with 14.2 ounces of weight, Les Schwab correctly balanced it with 1.4 ounces!)
    HOLY SHIIOOTT

Pioneer Double Din with BT, iPod, etc. Boston Acoustic components in all 4 doors with a Sony amp, powered 8" sub. Ultra gauge, Tom Tom...
Glad they worked the balance out. Some people keep throwing on weight till they can't anymore. I just learned alot watching John, at Nick's Auto Repair, re-balance my Duratracs. After 17,000 miles, one of them had a noticable bounce in the tire. He actually went through the trouble of re-clocking the tire on the rim to get it to balance better. Truck runs down the road like glass again.

On a side note, these were the guys that did the lift, UCA's, tire install, and alignment. Great guys to work with, very knowledgable and particular about their work.

Anyhow, I'll quit my babbling now!:D

Back on track...got my first annual inspection done, I've had my truck a year now!:yay::woot::yay:

Installed a iPhone charging cable behind the dash and ran the cable in to the tray next to my A/T shifter. Now I can charge my phone without having wires everywhere.

This is the only photo I took. I tapped power off from the back of the radio, I am not sure if I would recommend that, because now I get a small amount of feedback when I plug both the charger and the audio cable in. Might rethink where to get power, but for now I can charge my phone.
