    It wasn't clamped on the axle in that pic, the axle nut was against the side of the vise holding it in place. Probably still should have wrapped it but my fucks given are low at this point.

    Thanks, gave it a shot but the way my vise is I could hang it straight down so I couldn't get a solid hit on it.

    Only benefit of brass is it doesn't mar the surface right? I've been getting some pretty solid hits on the star (inside part not the rollers or whatever they are called) but no luck.

    I'm thinking I need to look for a puller that can get it off.
