    sorry guys, everything was alright, had to get towed to NY that night... because i had something important at work to do the next day.... what was wrong was the pulley seized up which cause the belt to overheat which ended up exploding.... took it into toyota and they wanted to charge me 93 dollars just to look at it... they said it might not be covered due to the fact that i got the supercharger.... oh man i lit them up.. i talked to the service manager and pretty much told him the reason i went with the TRD supercharger is because of the warranty, everything from the toyota factory and all of the installs were done by toyota.. so why the heck am i not covered and it was all done less than 2 months ago... so i picked up the truck yesterday and everything was covered.. thanks everyone for all of your help. mucho gracias! the truck and i are doing fine

    Side note: In addition to the spare belt I have a spare idler pulley sitting around. I really need to put together a Tacoma emergency rescue bag in case something like this comes up again.

    yeah im gonna end up doing the same, my truck is set up so that if i brake down somewhere i can camp it out.. ie blankets,tents... stuff like that im gonna start building a better recovery/repair kit

    funny because I am friends with a toyota service manager and he said their dealership will not cover the TRD supercharger in warranty even if they install it because Toyota will not honor the warranty, so thats why im waiting till my warranty is up :/
