    2011 Tacoma MGM Double Cab/Short Bed

    Bought her in January of 2011. My friend has a 2005 dc/sb sport and I was impressed with it on the first drive. Ended up trading in my 2010 Mitsubishi Evolution X for the Tacoma. I had a good six year run of Evo's and have to say, you won't find a better driving experience for under $35k. Ultimately, I needed something that sat a little higher off the ground and drew less attention. Not needing premium gas is also a huge plus.

    Truck is coming along and looks GREAT man! How do the DuraTrac's perform? Do you wish you would have gotten a different tire or are you happy with the decision. I like where you're going with it, BUT...

    I will agree to disagree with what you said here, Evo's are amazing vehicles, but I had under $30k invested in my '03 Cobra and absolutely LOVED it! Don't get me wrong, I think Evo's (especially modified) are sick, but Cobra's can also be had for the same price range and make some insane power! :D

    That '06 is extremely clean BTW! I love the wingless look on those cars, and IMO, that body style is way better looking than the newer ones :der:

    The Duratracs are hardly audible and look awesome. They have great ratings and I'm very please with them thus far. Drove to 3+ hours to Connecticut the day after I installed them and had zero complaints.

    I love Cobra's just as much as the next guy but they are anything but practical. Two doors and park it when it snows. That's a race car/toy not a driving experience. Evo's can be driven in any conditions and you can put your kids in the backseat. They are safe, capable above 99% of most drivers' abilities and take to mods like kids to candy. You can't beat that.

    They are completely different worlds. If I wanted to go fast in a straight line and it was my weekend car, yes, I'd own a Cobra. But that's all they are good for. Again, I do like Cobra's so don't take offense to my philosophy, I used to own a 2001 Lightning for that matter haha.

    Now I'll give you that one haha, backseat usage in a Cobra is next to none. And I live on the Gulf Coast, what is this "snow" stuff you speak of :p :D
