    Just bought it!
My truck has those two drop down compartments up by the rear view mirror. the one looks like it's for a pair of sunglasses and the other sounded like it was for a garage door button from what I read somewhere. I wear glasses already so I have no use for sunglasses. I also don't have a garage. I was wondering if anyone else had come up with any other good uses for the compartments. I know I could stash anything up there, but does anyone sell anything useful for them? I know some vehicles have a drop down child mirror to see what's going on in the back seat in that same spot. It'd be cool if someone had something like that I could fit into the front compartment. Any ideas?

I store my can of dip in mine sometimes. I haven't seen or heard of anybody making something to store up there.

I had completely forgotten that they were up there, so after I remembered I stuck my phone in the sunglasses spot just for the fun of it, and every time I hit a bump you could hear it rattling around, even with the foam that's in there. Fruit loops sound like the way to go though.

Much better places to hide the pot. Take out cup holders unsnap the plastic piece and you have a perfect hiding spot.:p

I'm pretty sure that's Fire931's switch panel. This is where i plan on putting my switches when i put lockers in, etc.

Edit: That would be Fire's old truck, another member here bought it from him but i can't remember who.

Same here, they barely fit in a soft bag unless you put them in there just right.

I always carry sunglasses with me in my truck so it really doesn't cross my mind to put anything else in there.

Perhaps a small streamlight or other small tactical flashlight or maybe a small frame/pocket .380?

You could get a long rope jerky and poke it through the hole in the garage door button compartment. Get a Mirthmobile situation going...
