ARB front bumper help

Hey, guys I need your help, I have an ARB front bumper on my 96 taco and have no skid plate. I really hate having the bottom of my radiator exposed. I had to put a new one in earlier this year, and do not want to have to do it again. So I guess what i'm asking is does some one make a skid plate to bolt upto the ARB or will the factory skid fit with the ARB bumper. Thanks in advance for allyour help and advice.

 

There are really two skid plates. One that mounts to the bumper directly and one that mounts indirectly( mounts to the frame of the truck). If your looking for skid plate indirectly to the arb bumper check the vendors here on TW. I have one ordered from metalmiller here on TW doing a custom cut for me in the plate.

 

Thanks man I will do some checking, With the snow starting to fly I dont need to pick up another rock, when I drive 150 miles aday.

 

I have an arb bar with skid row off road skid plate. Covers the radiator and is heavy duty.

 

A stock skidplate should bolt right up...

 

factory should i think. And if factory does then a good aftermarket one from Bud Built will or Metamiller.

I really don't want to put a stock skid plate on. I have my rock sliders and new wheels to put on I think that its going to be a weekend project, just as soon as i get layed off for the winter. I still haven't decided on which rubber to put on my wheels. I'm thinking Cooper STT in a 285/75R16

 

I as well have the metalmiller skid coming my way and from what i can tell without having it in hand, it should be comparable to budbuilt, skidrow etc in thickness and strength!
