Anyone know what or how to remove a bracket that is epoxied to a window?

Rear slider, as in the linear actuator mod.

I am not sure if the rear glass is safety glass, may only be tempered without the laminated process.

If it is solid, carefully warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun. Depending on the epoxy it may work.

I've done this many times with 5 minute epoxy on various materials. Better epoxy will require more heat.

    Be careful.

Problem with this is that the bracket is on the lower edge, right next to the plastic/rubber track. I'm thinking that heat will take the track out before the bracket. I'll have to look into if that window could be removed without too much trouble though. Thanks for the input.

You mad?! Don't be jealous :D

Don't be, really! My linear actuator went belly up after only a year. Seems others have not had this problem. Cost to replace the LA went up, so I have decided to take a shot at BenWA's rear window mod (only a few bucks more and the window motor is much quieter then the LA. Problem is that the LA bracket is in the way. I can work around it, but wanted to see if I could remove it first.
