Truxx Lift kit

Does anyone have it and are there advantages to this type lift vs coil's?

 

price point is your benefit. It's pretty much like the ready lift kit from what i have read.

 

I dont know about that the kit's $367 I can get toytec 884 coils and add leaf for 300 I think.

 

you will also need new shocks with that toytec. Add at least $199 more to the $300

Right. the Stock shocks will not have enough up travel to accommodate the extended springs.

 

i have seen that Truxxx lift on ebay for $259 including the rear blocks. sellers name is "radgt". front alone was like $175

i've got them, and the bilsteins 5100's. they give about 2.5" of lift and I got about 3/4 of an inch out of the bilsteins as well. I did have the bilsteins only, set at 2.5 b ut the ride was much stiffer, and the front end was quite low compared to my back end. the truxxx kit also came with front diff spacers included. I'd say that ride quality is definately better on the truxx strut spacer lift then the coil preload spacer, but probably not as good as a new full coilover.

 

Just installed the 3"/1" Lift level yesterday. Sits perfect but need to align yet. Think I'm gonna go with the BFG MT in 255/80/17 for the 33" height without the width/ rubbing issue.
