    I told you guys we should have made that day trip to Lucerne, instead we got caught up in a big ass storm while we were miles from the nearest road. We should have been back from that trail run before it got dark..

    Anyone else thinking of taking your truck up to the mountains better make sure you at least have chains, or 4x4 .. It didnt take very long for all that snow to fall

    wtf do I have to be mad about?:confused:

    I aint the one who got stuck I made it home.. All I'm saying is we should have stuck with the original plan, it just don't make sense for the 2wd guys to be out on a trail without chains during a snow storm when we could have taken them to somewhere like Lucerne where they have less chance of getting stuck and there was more open area to shoot.

    The trails were cool but I just think everyone would have had more fun if we were actually able to wheel a little more and not have to worry about getting stuck

    Hiatt said it was too far, and we brought guns to shoot at big bear. Plus the 2wd guys did what they could. Hiatt and I made a conscious effort to find a trail to Lucerne the day before, so before you go off and say we 'veered' from the plan, let us take into account what our host wanted to do since he offered his own family cabin for us to stay in.
