I know I had mice in my attic a couple of years ago... I went up with boxes of mouse poison and threw it at the trails in the insulation. Haven't seen any new signs of critters :knockonwood:

 

where can I get some of this?

 

last week while taking out an interior wall at the farm house we're renovating I found roughly 20 dead mice in one stud space.

Cats don't eat dead rats.

They use the powerlines that run down the rear fenceline as their insterstate through the hood. Along with the squirrels.

Yeah, I actually am due for a pest inspection anyway this spring. It's a pain to get into my attic, but i've never found any intrusions up there. Soffits are all sound, and vents are properly screened. But I suppose the buggers can chew though steel...

 

Any Building Supply place. You just have to make sure it is not accessible to your pets.

 

The rats don't die right away , they usually last about 12 hours , during that time they seek out water at all costs

 

They can fit through holes as small as a quarter.

 

They chew the soffit screen , or the screen on your attic / gable vents , or if you have a masonary fireplace , they climb down the chimney

 

And you've tested this, I bet.

 

hmmmm then I'm gonna have to pass on the stuff... the girls love to play with rodents and couldn't take a chance. That's part of why I have such a mole problem... can't use poison pellets
