I can do minor stuff, like changing oil. :p

I don't know anything about the actual engine components though, nor do I have any tools. :(

    But I have a 2002 4Runner.

Which vehicle? if you want help doing it in a taco I'd be more than willing to help you in the Corvallis area. I have the tools, you bring the car and the plugs/grease.

Also, I can help you with plugs. I did it on my FJ in about 20 minutes once the engine had cooled down. It's best if the truck hasn't been running for a few hours. So, I could bring tools and do it for you. (A 6 pack of beer would be greatly appreciated ;) )

Buy a set of 6 from John & Phils. That's what I did. They're a few bucks each if I recall. They should give you 6 NGK plugs. Then get some anti-seize grease which they should also have there.

    I thought it was a 4cyl..?

Anyway, if it is a 6, keep in mind that the left side uses different sparks than the right, so keep track when they are coming out ;)
