Im planning on lifting my truck 3 inches, does anybody know what kind of offset or backspacing I need on my new rims to fit 285/70r17 or 285/65r18?

The offset on the inside needs to be the same as the stock wheel so that there is no interference with the upper control arm. That moves the whole tire out and based on what others here have found you will probably need to do a bit of trimming as well, but that will vary depending on what you use the truck for(more wheeling=more trimming).
