Picked up my Aluminum colored V6 Tacoma TRD "Sport" access cab last night...I love all the bells and whistles and this is my first truck/car with a backup camera.

    :D

Rides like a full size...taking it deer huntin all next week..will damn near live out of it...nice way to break it in ;)

I might ask this in the tech forum but I noticed a wiring harness in the glove compartment for the camera...am I supposed to hook this up somewhere?

Congrats! I've had mine for 3 weeks and I'm still having trouble "trusting" the backup camera...

I had a harness in my glovebox too. I think it's for connecting the backup camera to the screen in the rearview mirror if you dont have the entune touchscreen audio system.... not positive about that though.

Congrats on the new truck! Did you get a chance to take pictures that we can see?

Yeah mine is shown on the in-dash screen rather than the mirror (even though I still have a video screen in the mirror). Maybe it's there if you wanted to upgrade to the Entune touch screen audio system? or it could be for something entirely different...

The "wiring" in the glove box is actually plugs for when (if) you remove your tailgate and have to disconnect the wiring to the camera in the tailgate handle. There are instructions included but if yours are missing I could probably scan mine and post them here. Conrats on the new truck

Nice truck man! A good way to break in a truck is def a hunting trip. Watch out for the blood getting on your aluminum truck tho! :D
