with it activating when not necessary and actually making it unsafe. The VSC kicks in when on mild turns, sometimes making it hard to keep the truck straight while the ABS goes to one wheel.

I had the Toy dealer calibrate the VSC per instructions from this website, and still it happens. Damn right dangerous sometimes!!!!

    This

and if that does not help , look into Crom's ABS/VSC bypass threads

Have you had an alignment since lifting ?

As a stop gap measure , you can alway hold in the VSC ( car with squiggly lines ) button for 5 seconds while stopped , this will significantly reduce the sensitivity of the VSC system .

It will reset each time the truck is turned off though .

Yep. Alignment, VSC calibration, wheel balanced...all done. It's downright scary trying to keep the truck from going off the road when it kicks in on one wheel. I fail to see how this is supposed to help in a real emergency.

I'll look for that bypass thread...something. This is ridiculous, I mean I'm going like 25mph on a 35mph curve !!!!!

I hear you , I have had the same experience .

The skid control ecu thinks you are going into a tailspin condition and brakes the driver's side rear tire , actually forcing you into oncoming traffic . Not cool .

Strange that your having this kind of problem with it. With my last lift it barely went off, now with this lift it goes off a little more but almost never actually kicks in unless I break the back end loose. Maybe its because of the supercharger ECU reflash I have. I have fox coils cranked way up with sway bar removed. What lift do you have, how much body roll do you get? Could be a combination of lift with excessive roll casuing this.

Did anyone know the fix to this mine is doing the same thing. I was pulling my boat last night and it about caused me to hit someone head on. When I hold the off button for 5 seconds then go in a curve and hit the break one front tire will lock up.
