Been lurking around here for the past couple of months. I have been looking at getting a 1st gen Tacoma for a while now. I sold my Jeep earlier this year and have been on the look out for Tacoma's ever since. I hope to be picking up a 2002 Tacoma SR5 TRD 4x4 with 140k on it this weekend :D. That is why I have been lurking, trying to do all the research I can on what kind of lift I want ect.
Once I pick up the truck and start wrenching on it, I am sure I will have some questions.

    Thanks,
    Josh

Picking up the truck tomorrow! I will try to get some pictures posted up later this weekend when I get it back home after the thanksgiving holiday.

Now to start the mods! I think one of the first things is going to be a winch for the ARB bumper that is already on the truck. Then some new wheels and tires. I found some 31x10.5x15 BFG KM2's on black rims on CL for a pretty good deal. I am going to check them out and see if the rims will clear the calipers. If they do, I will have new tires on the truck by the end of the weekend as well!

Can't wait to get this truck off road here in CO!

So I picked up my first Tacoma this past weekend. Here is how she looked the day I picked it up.

Then I removed the shell and ladder rack. I also picked up some black steelies with 31" BFG K/M2's off of Craigslist and installed them. Here is how she looks today.

Hopefully in January I will have a new OME suspension under this thing and a winch installed. The MOD bug started quick with this thing:D!
