    Thanks for the input, followup:

    Wired, do they automatically power on when running? Are they Adjustable (Dim) and/or Turn on/off when not needed?

    Video is nice, perhaps another showing how you alternate between the colors, how the switches work.

    Very nice!

    While i have since traded my Tacoma for a 4Runner I did have the battery operated version of this light and can say that their product is top quality! Anyone who's owned a Tacoma for more than a week knows how dark the console area can be, Definitely worth the $$'s :thumbsup:

    My 11' 4Runner also is a bit dark around the lower center stack/console area, any chances you'll be expanding your line to include other vehicles? :pray:

    Both V1 and V2W offer completely adjustable dimming on the Primary/Secondary colors.

    On the V2W, power is controlled by the Tacoma unless you turn it OFF completely (using the 3-possition slide switch).

    We are working on producing better videos and hope to have them early next year - perhaps, sooner.

    Thanks VERY much for the kind words! We have considered the 4Runner (and other vehicles) but do NOT yet have the demand to justify the expense. It is possible if sales pick up enough. ;)

    I bought it during your first round of sales, 6 or 7 months ago? I like it, I use it most mornings on my way to work, lights the console area nicely. It blends in so perfectly with the dash you wouldn't know it didn't come with the truck. This light is as close as you can get to OEM without being OEM. My only wish is that the colored light were as bright as the white light.
    I noticed you dropped the price, $49.95 I feel is perfect, I think I paid $60.00?? I know I thought it was high at the time until I received the product, never gave the price a second thought after that.

    Close: When mounted to the mounting plate (normal operation), the power comes ONLY from the Tacoma's lighting circuit.

    IF the Tacoma is OFF, the V2W is OFF (no matter the switch position).

    IF the V2W is dismounted (magnetically) from the mounting plate (for remote lighting needs), the 3-position switch controls power from the onboard batteries.

    The HVAC control module can be removed / re-installed with the mounting plate in place. It will offer some resistance and a little extra effort but, it will not prevent access. You will have to push upward slightly on the stereo panel to clear the control module. :)
