Hey man love what you've done to your truck! I'm just wondering how you like the 33x10.5 tires. I'm going to be in the market for new tires soon and I'm thinking about going for this size. Did you have any trouble with rubbing anywhere? Whats the road noise like with this tire compared to the BFG ATs?
    Thanks!

I really like the size. Much less rubbing than 33x12.50s. The fronts have never rubbed but the inner fender liner has been trimmed and the firewall pinch weld has been flattened. The rears rub some on the front of the flares when the suspension is really stuffed. But I have trimmed the flares and some of the fender. Still have a tiny bit of rub back there, but I'd rather not trim any more and I think I have room at the back of the fenderwell so I'm looking at some spring relocation plates to push the axle back slightly.

Road noise is a little more than the ATs but it doesn't bother me and the upgrade in traction is a worthwhile tradeoff.

I will probably start building some in the spring. I have had several requests, just haven't had time to start on them yet. I'll let you know when I pull the trigger.

Thanks! I'll be looking for 33x10.5 in the future.

I was going to ask about your rear bumper too... Do you ever get in trouble for not having the license place illuminated? Or is there a light on it somewhere that I'm not seeing?

There is a light. Hard to see but there is an LED strip right along the top of the plate.

Couple small updates. I installed a B.A.M.F. BPV bracket last week. Some crappy glare in this picture but it's painted with some paint I had that is supposed to look like gold zinc coating. Actually turned out pretty good, despite the crappy photo.

And yesterday I gave the brake calipers a little makeover. I was cleaning them up and putting in some fresh pads anyway and thought it was a good chance to add a little color. Duplicolor Caliper Paint. Again, sorry for the crappy pic.

Little better pic of the other caliper. I was skeptical of the paint quality but it looks like it's actually pretty tough and it was pretty easy to use.

So I've been toying with the idea for a while to do some old school style Toyota graphics on the truck. Haven't made up my mind yet, but this is what I'm thinking. I'd see if SockMonkey might be able to help me make them.

    Whatcha think?

What I'm thinking of is not an exact copy of the Factory stripes but it's designed after these ones. They are up front and on the bedsides so that's the look I'm going for.

Nah. all black wouldn't give the right look. I photoshopped it all black too and it was too much.

    maybe black fade to grey?

Idk, the three colors dont look quite right on the truck. Maybe the dark brown is too dark?

when I think the oldschool yota graphics I think black. My dad had an 87 and it had the same graphics you have photoshopped, but black to grey fade.

I'm thinking WIN! That looks awesome! That is one outstanding looking Taco bud. I never cared for the tan/brown color but WOW! Yours is off the chain! That is one well thought out and executed setup.
